Order books for Renault's Clio Gordini RS, which will start selling in June, are now open. The Clio Gordini RS is priced at EUR26,400 in France. Basically, this vehicle is a Renault Sport model similar to its smaller sibling, the Twingo. Expect for the Clio Gordini RS to have the same features as the top-ranging kit from the mainstream Clio range.

It even boasts of having features exclusive to the Gordini range. The body color is Malte Blue and there are white stripes with a "G" motif, as well as white and gloss black details like the front bumper center section and rear diffuser.

The Clio Gordini RS, which is produced at the Alpine-Renault factory in Dieppe, Normandy, is fitted with all the features developed by Renault Sport Technologies for the Clio RS.

The powertrain of the Clio Gordini RS functions smoothly with its ultra-efficient chassis to provide exceptional driving enjoyment. Renault claims that Clio Gordini RS possesses all the features that have led to the success of Renault Sport models throughout the years.

The most significant feature is the high-performance normally-aspirated 2.0-liter engine that generates more than 100hp per liter, for a total of 203 hp. Another crucial feature is the Sport chassis, with the independent steering axis front suspension ensuring precise handling and traction.

Standard equipment includes diamond-effect 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels with black inserts, additional cornering lights, electrically operated, heated and folding exterior mirrors, Carminat TomTom navigation, cruise control with speed limiter, hands-free card, automatic climate control, automatic headlamp activation and rain sensor, fully disconnectable ESP, with traction control and understeer control.
