After unveiled yesterday the 2011 IPL G Coupe, Infiniti unveiled today another vehicle set to make its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance -- the new 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan. The new Infiniti G25 Sedan comes with a number of luxury equipment and details expected of an Infiniti, although it may not be as powerful as it G37 big brother. The new car will go on sale in September and will carry a price tag of $30,950.
In terms dynamics, the new 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan is powered by a 2.5-liter V6 engine, the smallest offered in North America. For its size, this V6 mill is tuned to deliver around 218 hp of max output and 187 lb.-ft. of peak torque. As standard with G25 Sedan, power is sent to wheels through a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission.
Available in both rear-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive configurations, the 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan will be offered in three versions: Infiniti G25 Sedan, Infiniti G25 Sedan Journey and Infiniti G25x Sedan AWD.
Standard features for the new 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan include leather-appointed seating, Shodo aluminum interior trim, 8-way power driver's seat as well as 4-way power front passenger's seat. As provided as standard for the G25 Sedan are Automatic Temperature Control, premium audio system with six speakers, XM Satellite Radio (XM subscription required, sold separately) and much more.
In addition, Infiniti is offering 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, High Intensity Discharge (HID) Xenon headlights as well as 4-wheel Anti-lock Disc Braking System (ABS). Systems such as Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS) are also offered for the 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan.
The 2011 Infiniti G25 Journey model will be offered with RearView Monitor, heated front seats, heated outside mirrors as well as auto on/off headlights. It will also be offered with Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control and more.
Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore, speaking at a media event at the 60th annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, remarked that with the new G25 Sedan, the premium carmaker is broadening the appeal of the G Line. He described the new G25 Sedan as a model designed to provide an additional choice for buyers looking for a true luxury sedan, but who might not need the higher levels of performance provided by the larger engine-equipped G37 models.
The new 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan is positioned in the heart of the luxury sport sedan market, allowing the premium carmaker to bring the brand’s Inspired Performance to a wider selection of buyers.
