The 2011 Infiniti G37 GT Premium Convertible has a starting price of GBP45,185, according to the British division of Infiniti. Pricing information for the saloon and coupe body styles of the 2011 G range was also announced. The saloon and coupe body styles will be offered in several trim levels but there is only one convertible form. The four-seat convertible has been fitted with an electric folding hard-top that retracts in only 25 seconds.
This variant also gets a new 19-inch wheel design along with the optional new body colors. Like in the previous model, a wide range of standard equipment will also be offered. This includes climate-controlled front seats, Bose 13-speaker sound system with personal head-rest speakers, Connectiviti+ satnav, 300-CD capacity HDD Music Box and Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC).
Infiniti said that only this model offers Monaco red leather upholstery and red-stained Maple Wood interior trim as an option for the price of £890. Like all G models, this also uses the 315bhp 3.7-litre petrol V6 with VVEL variable valve system. The model can sprint from a standstill to 62mph in six seconds or less.
The extensive range of Infiniti G models include coupé, convertible and saloon body styles, rear-wheel-drive/all-wheel drive and a 4-Wheel Active Steer among other features, providing customers with more choices than other vehicles in the luxury market.
At present, the 2011 Model Year range is available in Europe, with Infiniti G models honed to provide customers with better choices, owing to the simplified range that consists of some options yet generous standard equipment. Each model in the V6 line-up has a 7-speed adaptive automatic transmission coupled with steering wheel paddle-shift to have an accurate manual control if ever needed or in the mood.
The more tailored range is complemented by a standard rear spoiler on the Coupé S, the latest wheel designs for both the Coupé and Convertible plus fresh body colors for every version like the trendy Malbec Black on the M saloon, where it was first seen.
The new G Saloon range comes in four versions: two are rear-wheel drive and the other two GT models have an added all-wheel-drive capability, owing to the incorporated intelligent torque split system. Just like before, the sportiest S Premium comes standard with a 4-Wheel Active Steer along with driver-focused features. Two of the dynamic Coupé versions have a 4-Wheel Active Steer whereas the G37 Convertible, with an electrically retractable hard-top, shines in technology and style.
