The U.S. pricing of the Lexus CT 200h will start from $29,120 or $29,995 with all taxes included. Set to go on sale in the U.S. in 2011, Lexus has equipped the entry-level version with Safety Connect, XM Satellite Radio, USB connector for iPod/MP3 players, Bluetooth streaming audio and power lumbar seat support.
Lexus is expected to make an official announcement of the U.S. pricing any day now. Furthermore, the premium CT 200h will be priced at $30,900 ($31,775 with delivery charges included), and will feature all the equipment offered on the entry-level configuration plus moonroof and heated seats.
There are several optional feature packages offered for this model. The most expensive would be the Navigation Package that is priced at $2,445 and features a navigation system with HDD support, Lexus Enform with Destination Assist and eDestination, Lexus Insider, Voice Command, XM NavTraffic, XM NavWeather and XM Sports & Stocks.
There are numerous exterior colors to choose from, including: 4V3 Fire Agate Pearl, 5B1 Daybreak Yellow Mica, 077 Starfire Pearl, 1G1 Tungsten Pearl, 1G0 Smokey Granite Mica, 212 Obsidian and 3R1 Matador Red Mica. There are two options for the interior -- nuluxe material and perforated leather – with each being offered with its own color options.
Advanced technology is needed to create something as great as the all-new Lexus CT 200h hybrid vehicle. That is why the vehicle itself offers a number of optional technological features that customers would surely love.
For instance, comfort and convenience inside a CT 200h are things customers would not question with technology, thanks to the available moonroof and heated seats. For full entertainment, customers could also avail of the optional Premium Audio Package that includes the Lexus premium audio system with 10-speakers and six-disc CD changer, HomeLink and electrochromic rearview mirror.
For an even more luxurious feel, customers may have the optional Leather Package that includes the perforated leather seats, heated front seats, driver memory, and rain sensing wipers. Other technological options for the CT 200h are a backup camera in rearview mirror, LED headlights with headlamp cleaners, and Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Dynamic Radar Cruise Control. Also offered as an option is the sixth-generation navigation system that features a backup camera and a Remote Touch controller with user-adjustable haptic feedback.
The controller – exclusive only to Lexus – is similar to a mouse and gets rid of the need for touch screen controls. With the controller, the pop-up navigation system screen was mounted further up the center stack, away from the driver.
With a farther screen, the driver can benefit from a better screen resolution, improved site lines and reduced eye movement. As technologically advanced as it may be, the CT 200h also boasts of being eco-conscientious.
This is evidenced by the fact that several of the hybrid’s larger components -- loadspace deck sides, deck board and deck board trim – were fabricated from a bioplastic material that contains 30 percent plant-based resin. Built with consideration for the environment, the NuLuxe seat material that looks and feels like leather comes as standard for the CT 200h.
