2011 Nissan Altima pricing announced

Nissan North America announced today the pricing for the new 2011 Nissan Altima, Altima Coupe and Altima Hybrid. The 2011 Nissan Altima Sedan will carry a base price of $19,900 and will be offered in three versions: Altima Sedan 2.5 CVT, Altima Sedan 2.5 S CVT ($22,060) and Altima Sedan 3.5 SR CVT ($24,740).

The base model comes with a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine delivering 175 hp while the Altima Sedan 3.5 SR CVT is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine delivering 270 hp. The 2011 model year Altima received a new Special Edition Package (Altima Sedan 2.5 S CVT).

Furthermore, three new exterior colors were introduced: Metallic Slate, Saharan Stone and Brilliant Silver. The 2011 Altima Coupe pricing starts at $22,940 and is offered in four versions: Altima Coupe 2.5 S 6MT, Altima Coupe 2.5 S CVT ($23,440), Altima Coupe 3.5 SR 6MT ($30,100) and Altima Coupe 3.5 SR CVT ($27,770).

The coupe version of the Altima comes with a choice of two engines: a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6 engines delivering 175 hp and 270 hp, respectively.

Refinements for the 2011 Altima Coupe are limited to two new exterior colors – Metallic Slate and Brilliant Silver.

The 2011 Altima Hybrid is priced at $26,780 and comes with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and standard electronically controlled CVT with an advanced electric drive motor/generator.
