Nissan's Murano dCi SUV will be introduced to the European market in September and will be priced from EUR42,600, the cost of its entry-level Acenta equipment level.

Under the hood of the Murano SUV is the 2.5 liter dCi engine, which delivers 190 hp and a maximum torque of 450 Nm. On the other hand, the superior Tenka version is priced EUR2,300) more.

What is offered as standard on the Acenta version are six airbags, ABS, ESP, bi-Xenon headlights, lightweight alloy rims that come in a 18 inch size, dual zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, aluminum inserts for the pedals, a leather finish for the seats and a satellite navigation system with a 7-inch display.

The Tenka also boasts of the following features: heated rear seats, electric powered rear doors, 20-inch lightweight alloy rims, a sunroof and a premium audio system supplied by BOSE that has nine speakers.

A diesel particle filter (DPF) attached to the Murano's 2.5 liter diesel engine helps it comply with the EURO5 emission standard.

The powerplant is partnered to a six speed automatic transmission that features ASC (Adaptive Shift Control), allowing it to adapt the gear changes to the driving style. It also provides hill descending assistance.
