As expected, Ford introduced today the latest 2013 F-150 Limited, a new statement on pickup luxury. For those who don’t know, Ford is a leader in the luxury truck segment and started its domination back in 1999 when the company introduced the special-edition 2000 Harley-Davidson F-150. After this the first King Ranch F-150 arrived in 2001 and was followed by the 2009 F-150 Platinum model.
The new 2013 Ford F-150 Limited promises to surpass the well-appointed Lariat, western-themed King Ranch and contemporary Platinum. In terms of design, the F-150 Limited comes with unique 22-inch polished aluminum wheels and center caps, with a monochromatic exterior theme available in three colors: Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Tuxedo Black Metallic and White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat.
Moreover, we find body-color front and rear bumpers, front bumper valance, sideview mirror caps, wheel-lip molding, upper fascia and grille surround. As a premiere in the segment, Ford offers HID headlamps capable to deliver two and a half times more light comparing them with conventional halogen lamps.
F-150 Limited is available exclusively with a SuperCrew four-door cab configuration. The interior was also upgraded and now features red and black full-grain leather seats with cooling and heating as well as memory functionality.
Furthermore, the head restraints are four-way-adjustable and second-row seats are heated. The center panel and console feature aluminum trims, complemented by the piano black accents. The F-150 Limited interior also offers ambient lightning offering five accent colors. The moonroof is offered as standard.
Ford F-150 Limited offers a rear view camera, voice-activated navigation, a central mounted 8-inch LCD screen and a power-sliding rear window with privacy tint and defrost functionality. MyFord powered by SYNC is offered as standard, as well as USB ports, an SD-card reader, RCA video input jacks and Sony Audio System.
