2013 GTA V Bravado Banshee comes to the real world

Article by Anita Panait, on September 5, 2013

Bravado Banshee became a symbol of the ultimate American sports car following its appearance as getaway car in the opening sequence of Grand Theft Auto III, making it a mainstay at the high-octane high-adrenaline game. Now, Rockstar Games is presenting a real world version of the 2013 Bravado Banshee that will appear in Grand Theft Auto V when the game is released on September 17, 2013.

For this month, GameStop is offering all enthusiasts a chance to win this very unique and one-of-a-kind vehicle as part of the PowerUp Rewards Epic Rewards Giveaway. To create the real-life 2013 GTA V Bravado Banshee, West Coast Customs employed state-of-the-art fabrication technologies. The car fabrication company cut molds for the exterior, machining them one by one.

Through the molds, each panel was laid out by hand to create an exterior that accurately reproduces the Banshee.
Taking a cue from the looks and textures of the in-game car, West Coast Customs handcrafted the Banshee’s interior, making sure they are able to capture the look and feel of the car’s cockpit. The seats were also upholstered and embroidered with the Banshee name and insignia. The Banshee’s dashboard, door panels and center console were reconfigured and were finished with carbon inlays.

West Coast Customs also equipped the Banshee with a multi-speaker premium sound system and then completed the masterpiece with metallic blue finish with ice white racing stripe. The GTA V Bravado Banshee pays a tribute to the customization options in the Los Santos Customs shops of the game, where a gamer could equip and style their vehicles with broad options of visual and performance-based improvements.

Grand Theft Auto V is the latest evolution of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) video game series, as first created by David Jones and Mike Dailly. The name of the references the term used in the US for motor vehicle theft. It was first released for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows in Europe and North America in October 1997. Grand Theft Auto was re-released for the PlayStation in Europe in December 1997 and in North America June 1998.

An action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto V is set on the fictional state of San Andreas that is based on Southern California. Moreover, the fictional city of Los Santos in the game is also based on the city of Los Angeles, California. As the name of the game states, the story revolves around auto heists, with missions involved virtual driving and shooting.

Rockstar North commenced the game’s development right after the Grand Theft Auto IV was released on April 29, 2008 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
