Kia announced the pricing for the 2014 Soul today and there is good news: the new car starts at $14,700 MSRP, not including destination charges of $795. The all-new 2014 Kia Soul will be available in three trim levels: Base, Plus and Exclaim. As we said, the 2014 Kia Soul starts at $14,700 MSRP in the Base trim level.
Despite it is the entry-level trim, the 2014 Soul Base offers plenty of features such as privacy glass, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), optional 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control with steering-wheel-mounted controls, center console armrest and storage, rear center armrest with cup holders and remote keyless entry. Under the hood, we find a 1.6-liter I-4 DOHC gasoline direct injection (GDI) engine with 130 hp and 118 pound-feet of torque.
Moreover, the Soul Base offers rack-ready roof with integrated mounting points, air conditioning, power door locks, power windows with driver-side one-touch auto-down, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, USB/auxiliary input jacks, Bluetooth wireless technology3 and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM). The 2014 Kia Soul Plus starts at $18,200 excluding the $795 destination and handling fee, title, taxes, license, options and dealer charges. It also adds a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 164 hp Upgrades from the Base trim include: 17-inch alloy wheels, gloss black with chrome bezel front upper grille and outside mirrors with turn signal indicators.
In addition, we find optional packages, such as the UVO eServices Package, offering the Rear-Camera Display4 and auto on/off headlights for an additional $400. The Audio Package costs $1,400 and includes navigation with an 8-inch display, HD Radio, Infinity Audio system with center speakers, subwoofer and external amplifier, speaker lights and automatic temperature control with cluster ionizer. The Primo Package costs $3,000 includes a panoramic sunroof with power shades, leather trimmed seats, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, push-button start with Smart Key and front fog lights.
The ECO Package includes Idle Stop and Go System (ISG), low rolling resistance tires and 16-inch alloy wheels at $400. The 2014 Kia Soul Exclaim includes 18-inch alloy wheels, body-colored front and rear bumper tusks, LED positioning lights, LED taillights with LED high-mounted stop light, power folding outside mirrors, UVO with eServices and a Rear-Camera Display.
The Sun and Sand Package is offered for $2,600 and offers navigation with an 8-inch display, Infinity Audio system with center speakers, subwoofer and external amplifier, speaker lights and automatic temperature control with cluster ionizer.
