Especially for its fans in Japan, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition. As expected, this hot hatch will be offered in a limited edition, this time only 30 units will be produced. Each unit features a Cirrus White exterior, carbon fiber mirrors but also green graphics wearing the Petronas colors.

Besides these styling touches, the A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition comes with multi-spoke 19-inch wheels with green accents. Same color is also found on the rear roof spoiler. Inside, the same color is found on the steering wheels, air vent bezels, dash, center console and seats.

This new A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition is actually based on the already exclusive A45 AMG Edition 1 and comes with the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine rated at 360 hp (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

With these numbers, the vehicle sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed electronically limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h. Despite these performances, fuel consumption remains low at only 6.9 litres of fuel per 100 km in the NEDC combined mode. No words about the price yet!
