2014 Nissan Maxima gets a price tag of $31,000 in the United States

Nissan today announced that the 2014 Maxima flagship sedan will carry the same price as the 2013MY, which means that will start at $31,000 excluding the $810 destination and handling fee. Offering a sports sedan styling and a driver-focused cockpit, ample comfort and luxury, the 2014 Nissan Maxima is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine developing 290 hp.

The engine is mated to the standard Xtronic CVT with manual and "DS" (drive sport) modes with available paddle shifters. For the 2014MY, Nissan Maxima also gets the Limited Edition Package (on the 3.5 S models) for $750, consisting of smoked appearance headlights, Xenon headlights, compass in rearview mirror, 18-inch aluminum-alloy Dark Hyper Silver wheels, rear spoiler, fog lights, outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and metallic trim treatment.

In addition, two new exterior colors are available: Gun Metallic and Midnight Garnet (eight available exterior colors total). Moreover, the 2014 Nissan Maxima features a Bose premium audio system with nine speakers and Nissan Hard Drive Navigation system with NavTraffic Real-Time Traffic information and NavWeather (SiriusXM subscription required, sold separately) and Voice Recognition.
