Audi has just unveiled the facelifted 2015 A7/S7 Sportback models announcing new configurations, transmissions headlights, taillights and infotainment system. As you can see from the pictures, the most striking changes are found on the Singleframe grille, bumpers tailpipes and headlights. Audi now offers as standard LED technology and as an option, the German carmaker can supply Matrix LED headlights.
The interior was updated too with new materials, including the aluminum/Beaufort walnut inlay and Valcona leather. For the 2015MY, Audi redesigned the color palette that offers five color options. The 2015 Audi A7 Sportback Facelift is offered with a choice of fiveengines, two TFSI and three TDI.
Their power rating ranges from 160 kW (218 hp) to 245 kW (333 hp), and all of them comply with the Euro 6 emission standard. The 3.0-liter TDI V6 Clean Diesel delivers 272 hp (200 kW) or 218 hp (160 kW). In the “ultra” version that delivers 218 hp and equipped with front-wheel drive, the 3.0 V6 has a fuel consumption of 4.7 l/100 km (50 US mpg) and emits just 122 g/km of CO2.
There is also a 3.0-liter TDI V6 biturbo clean diesel engine that develops 320 hp (235 kW), that works with an eight-speed tiptronic transmission.
The new 2015 Audi A7 Sportback Facelift promises to lead the competition in terms of infotainment as it comes with the MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch that uses the latest generation of the modular infotainment system.
The touchpad control allows drivers to scroll and zoom in lists and maps. Audi Connect is available too, and links the vehicle with Internet via the LTE high-speed data transmission.
Pricing for the 2015 Audi A7 Sportback Facelift starts at 51,300 euros, while the 2015 Audi S7 Sportback Facelift costs 82,300 euros. The new Audi A7 Sportback Facelift will arrive at the dealerships in late summer 2014.
The chassis of new Audi A7 Sportback offers both sporty precision and high comfort. Some of its engine configurations are matched with new lightweight brakes while the power steering system is provided with an electromechanical drive. The new Audi A7 Sportback rides on wheels measuring between 17 inches and 21 inches.
As standard, the A7 Sportback comes with an Audi drive select dynamic handling system. Audi is also offering optional elements like dynamic steering and two sport suspension versions. Also optional is an adaptive air suspension, which on the S7 Sportback features a firmer setup.
In terms of infotainment, the new Audi A7 Sportback is provided with high-tech systems, with MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch on top. This infotainment system employs the latest generation of the modular infotainment system as powered by a graphics processor from Nvidia. Thanks to touchpad control, the driver could just scroll and zoom in lists and maps.
The MMI Navigation plus is supplemented by Audi connect that links the A7 Sportback to the Internet via the LTE standard. The Audi phone box allows the driver's mobile phone to the car antenna to get improved reception. The new A7 Sportback could be loaded with the Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System.
The new A7 Sportback is also provided with state-of-the-art assistance systems like adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, the Audi pre sense safety system, and the improved night vision assistant. Audi side assist works with Audi active lane assist to allow safer lane changes.
