2015 BMW 6-Series Facelift arrives with an updated design

Besides the 2015 BMW M6 Facelift, the Bavarian manufacturer also unveiled the facelifted BMW 6-Series model ranve. Just like the M6, the new vehicles receive a new design for the kidney grille, while the new front and rear bumper accentuate the width of the body. In addition, the six-cylinder models feature larger tailpipe embellishers.

Furthermore, the 6-Series Facelift receives new LED headloghts as standard, while the adaptive LED headlights with BMW Selective Beam anti-dazzle High Beam Assistant are available as an option. Also new are the Jatoba metallic, Cashmere Silver metallic, Glacier Silver metallic, Mediterranean Blue metallic and Melbourne Red metallic paintwork finishes.

As an option, BMW also offers new 20-inch light-alloy wheels in exclusive multi-spoke design. The interior offers an exclusive ambience and new high-quality surfaces, while the bi-colour leather trim is now available as an option.

Regarding engine options, the 650i Coupe and Convertible models are powered by the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 450 hp (330 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. The coupe is able to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds (650i xDrive Coupe in 4.4 seconds), while the convertible accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds (4.5 seconds for the 650i xDrive Convertible). Both models offer a top speed limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h.

Meanwhile, the 640i Coupe and Convertible are powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line petrol engine producing 320 hp (235 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque. The convertible needs 5.5 seconds (5.4 seconds for the 640i xDrive Convertible) to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), while the coupe needs 5.3 seconds (5.2 seconds for the 640i xDrive Coupe). Both models offer a top speed limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h.

The 640d Coupe and Convertible models are powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line diesel engine generating 313 hp (230 kW) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) of torque. The coupe needs 5.3 seconds (5.1 seconds for the 640d xDrive Coupe) to reach 100 km/h (62 mph), while the convertible accelerates in 5.5 seconds (5.3 seconds for the 640d xDrive Convertible).

The 650i Gran Coupe uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 450 hp and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. As a result, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds (4.4 seconds for the 650i xDrive Gran Coupe), while top speed is limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph.

The BMW 640i Gran Coupe is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line petrol engine developing 320 hp and 450 Nm (235 kW). This model needs 5.4 seconds (5.3 seconds for the 640i xDrive Gran Coupe) to hit 100 km/h (62 mph), while top speed is limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph.

The 640d Gran Coupe uses a 3.0-liter six-cylinder in-line diesel engine that generates 313 hp (230 kW) and 630 Nm (464 lb-ft) of torque. This model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.4 seconds (5.2 seconds for the 640d xDrive Gran Coupe), while the top speed is electronically limited at 155 mph or 250 km/h.
