2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M receive M Performance Parts

If you don’t find the 2015 BMW X5 M and the X6 M models too attractive, you’d be happy to find out that the Bavarian manufacturer has just introduced the Original BMW Accessories range for the high-performance SUVs. As you can see from the photos, both SUVs received new radiator and single grille ornamental trim with black slats, black frame and M logo.

Moreover, the standard chrome grilles can be replaced for the corresponding BMW M Performance Parts, while the mirror caps can be replaced with a new set of handmade carbon exterior mirror caps. The motor sport stripes showing the signature M colours also improve the looks of the vehicles.

Meanwhile, the BMW X6 M can be ordered with rear fins in high-gloss black, which improve the looks but also the aerodynamics.

Inside, the SUVs arrive with LED door sill plates in brushed stainless steel look with illuminated M performance lettering, carbon fiber accessories such as interior trim strips and carbon trim bearing the BMW M logo for the selector lever of the 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox.

Furthermore, the centre console trim features a high-quality combination of Alcantara and painted carbon around the selector lever.

Also, there is a new steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara with carbon trim, new BMW M Performance floor mats, a BMW M Performance key case with Alcantara/carbon material combination, accents in M Light Blue as well as high-quality bleu hex bolt.

The new BMW X5 M and new BMW X6 M express their sporting ambitions through their stunning forms. Featuring a low-slung figure as driven on the road, both the new X5 M and X6 M feature a full exterior finished in body color while riding on mixed tires featuring sporty track width.

Compared to the standard BMW X5 and X6, the new X5 M and new X6 M models are provided with further exterior modifications, mostly M performance parts. For instance, the X5 M and new X6 M come with large front air intakes, signature M exterior mirrors in twin-stalk style, side gills with a model badge, Air Breathers, as well as an M four-tailpipe exhaust system. The X6 M receives a rear spoiler. These new models ride on M-specific 20-inch light-alloy wheels shod in mixed tires, or on optionally available forged 21-inch M light-alloy rims.

Inside, the new BMW X5 M and new X6 M feature high-quality cabin marked by sporty elements, exclusive materials as well as flawless craftsmanship. M elements are also found inside these new models, like the M instrument cluster, M gearshift lever, M leather steering wheel with aluminum gearshift paddles, as well as electrically operated M sports seats (driver and front passenger) and an M driver's footrest. An optional Head-Up Display is also available, adding an M-specific display with gear indicator, shift lights and rev band.

Furthermore, the BMW X5 M and X6 M are offered with exclusive M options like 21-inch M light-alloy wheels, M multifunction seats and Merino full-leather trim, as well two new and exclusive M paint finishes.

Just like any other models under the care of BMW M GmbH, the new BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M boast of high performance that is more than just engine power and top speeds. BMW M has always defined high performance as having all components working in perfect harmony. BMW M believes that a precise interplay between different vehicle details results to optimal levels of performance, agility, poise and road confidence. All M models are characterized by this delicate balance, which are also evident in the new X5 M and new X6 M.
