Hyundai unveiled at the 2014 Commercial Vehicles Show in Hannover its all-new H350 and H350 commercial bus, company’s first light commercial vehicle (LCV) designed for the European market. The 2015 Hyundai H350 will take on vehicles such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and is powered by a 2.5-liter CRDI four-cylinder diesel engine offered in two versions, with 150 hp (110 kW) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft) of torque or 170 hp (125 kW) and 422 Nm (311 lb-ft) of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via the standard six-speed manual transmission. When it comes to design, the H350 gets a stylish front bumper, which is also practical as it incorporates side step in order to enable easy cleaning of the windshield, wraparound headlamps with optional projector lightning and LED Daytime Running Lights, side mirrors with integrated LED signal lights, an energy-absorbing rear bumper and high-level stop lamp with LED illumination.
Inside, the H350 promises to offer the best-in-class driver head (1,414 mm) and legroom (1,071 mm) as well as a bench that can accommodate two or three passengers and as an option it can be ordered with heating function and suspension support. The tilting telescopic steering wheel makes sure the diver has a comfortable driving position.
Hyundai says that the H350 passenger bus offers class-leading interior length (3,738 mm) and cargo space (540 mm), while retaining a long seat pitch (798 mm).
The multi-function steering wheel provides controls for the audio system and the multi-display as well as for the cruise control and telephone hands-free functions. The H350 Cargo van offers superior space, according to Hyundai: 1955 mm height, 1795 mm width, 3780 mm length. Up to five Euro pallets (1200 mmx800 mm x900 mm) can be accommodated in the H350 Cargo van.
