Infiniti’s MY2015 premium Q70 saloon range is now available in the United Kingdom, with a base tag of £32,650, lower carbon dioxide emission, full LED front and rear lighting, and a new family look. The range starts with the new Q70 2.2d model, which is powered by a four-cylinder diesel engine developed in cooperation with Daimler AG and mated to a standard seven-speed automatic transmission, with available paddleshift.

This Q70 2.2d boasts of carbon dioxide emission of just 129g/km while not sacrificing performance. The model offers up to 170PS of output and 400NM of torque.

Featured as standard are full LED headlights, chromed accents on the front grille, a rear-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, with standard Connectiviti+ navigation, 18-inch wheels and leather seats with ventilation.

With such attractive pricing and exceptional technology and equipment, the new Q70 2.2d model is expected to become the best-selling Q70 variant in the UK. Other variants available are the Sport and Tech models.

Sport models feature a more expressive look to the front bumper and uprated brakes as well as 20-inch wheels. Tech models, meanwhile, feature Infiniti’s Dynamic Safety Shield -- comprised of intelligent cruise control, lane departure prevention and blind-spot intervention-- Bose Premium Surround Sound with 16 speakers, and Around-View Monitor with Moving Object Detection.

The MY2015 Q70 will also be available with both 3.7-liter gasoline V6 and, for the flagship, the Infiniti Direct Response Hybrid powertrain. The Q70 Hybrid could accelerate from zero to 62mph in just 5.3 seconds, while emitting just 145g of carbon dioxide per kilometer.

The new Infiniti Q70 now boasts of a more upscale appearance – sleek, flowing and full of emotions – thanks to its new dramatic design.

Infiniti provided the new Q70 with impressive new signature headlights that employ light emitting diode units, implying human insight and inner intelligence. These characteristic headlights help emphasize the new double arch grille, which – thanks to intricate detail of its high-quality waved mesh finish and chrome surround – now sports a more three-dimensional appearance. This solid look is also expressed by the new front bumper with integrated fog lights.

A strong body line emerges from the front grille of the new Q70, and then runs through the flanks like a wave. Then this body line blends into the shape of the new rear LED combination lights. This body line help gives the new Q70 a sleek profile that furthers its already sporty stance.

Meanwhile, the rear end of the Q70 is marked by newly designed tail lights with a distinct horizontal flow. These rear lamps feature a high-quality lighting signature that lends the Q70 a fresh yet classy appearance. Infiniti has flattened the top line of the trunk lid and slimmed down the rear bumper to give the Q70 a longer and lower visual look that helps accentuate its sporty design. The classy look of the rear end is completed by a chrome rear finisher.

On the other hand, the Q70 is available as a Sport version, which comes with a specially designed front bumper that lends the vehicle a lower and wider stance. Riding on 20-inch wheels and tires, the Q70 Sport has the lower section of the rear bumper finished in high-gloss black.

Infiniti ensures that the Q70 is designed to cheat the wind, with airflow over the body significantly enhanced. Thanks to certain measures, the Q70 has zero front and rear aerodynamic lift. It also boasts of a low coefficient of drag: 0.27 Cd for the standard model, 0.26 Cd for the hybrid version, and 0.28 Cd for the Sport variant.
