Lexus has just announced that its NX urban crossover will go on sale later this year and will have a starting price of $34,480. This amount of money will get you the NX 200t model powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 235 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm. Power is delivered as standard to the front wheels.

The direct-injection turbo engine features the world-first combination of a cylinder head with an integrated water-cooled exhaust manifold and a twin scroll turbo charger. Meanwhile, the 2015 Lexus NX 300h FWD is priced from $39,720. This model is powered by Lexus’ proven 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine, generator, motor and battery.

The total output of the hybrid system is 194 hp and power is delivered to the front wheels. For those who don’t know, Lexus will offer the NX with plenty of on-board technologies such as the Lexus-first Wireless Charging Tray that enables Qi compatible phones to be charged as well as the new Lexus Remote Touch Interface with a touch pad, Pre-Collision System with All-speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, power folding rear seats as well as Lane Departure Alert.

As standard, the Lexus NX will feature the Multi-information Display, available with the Lexus-first G sensor and boost meter.
