2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo priced at $149,990 in the United States

Nissan announced today that the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo will be priced at $149,990 plus the destination and handling fee of $1,595. Set to go on sale at select Nissan dealers in the United States starting July 31, 2014, the GT-R Nismo is the fastest Nissan GT-R ever built and holds a volume production car lap record of 7 minutes and 8 seconds at the famed Nurburgring racetrack in Germany.

If you want one, you’d better hurry up as Nissan will build a limited number of GT-R Nismos, each powered by the advanced 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 engine that delivers 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque, with 55 hp and 18 lb-ft more than the standard 2015 Nissan GT-R.

The 2015 GT-R Nismo will be available in five body colors: Brilliant White Pearl, Meteor Flake Pearl Black, Ultimate Metallic Silver and Vibrant Red. And unique to the GT-R NISMO model, a Dark Matte Grey accentuates the car’s imposing exterior muscularity. Each car will feature the black 6-spoke wheels that are inspired by the GT500 race car.

Moreover, the Nismo GT-R comes with an aero package that improves road-holind and minimizes the negative impact of drag. The front bumper, engine undercover strake and the carbon fiber rear spoiler increase downforce and lowers the center of gravity.

Inside, we find ergonomically carbon-fiber-backed Recaro seats, a three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara, a meter hood wrapped also in Alcantara, red stitching on the seats, center console, door trim and steering wheel as well as a carbon-like finish for the combi meter and a red design for the tachometer. As we said, the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo will gon on sale on July 31, same date when the new 2015 Nissan GT-R Track Edition will be introduced. If you want a cheaper GT-R, this model costs only $115,710.
