Nissan is introducing the Juke NISMO RS – an extreme and focused version of the compact crossover -- to the United Kingdom at a starting price of £21,995 OTR. The RS version of the Juke NISMO could be availed in three exterior colors -- Storm White, Pearl Black and Blade Silver – and in a single bespoke interior treatment.

The NISMO RS is powered by a 1.6-liter DIG-T engine -- developed with NISMO's global motorsport experience – producing 218PS (160kW) in output and 280Nm in torque (two-wheel drive/manual transmission versions). The vehicle’s 2WD variants feature a mechanical Limited Slip Differential (LSD) on the driven front wheels, while fwd versions boast of Nissan’s advanced Torque Vectoring System as standard.

Fwd variants of the Juke NISMO RS are equipped with Nissan's Xtronic transmission and standard-fit steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts, with 250Nm of torque.

To improve the engine performance of the Juke NISMO RS, the group implemented strategic body strengthening to hike torsional stiffness and fitted larger discs in the braking system. Likewise, the model features revised springs and dampers.

The performance enhancements done with the Juke NISMO didn’t make the car impractical. In fact, 2WD versions boast of a 40-percent hike in carrying capacity, thanks to the subtle reshaping of the luggage area.

The RS version features optional equipment like the Recaro sports "bucket" seats as well as the Safety Pack that includes Xenon headlamps, Nissan's Around View Monitor and Safety Shield, LaneDeparture Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Moving Object Detection.
