2015 Opel Corsa E OPC spotted at the factory

We wrote about the Opel Corsa E OPC back in July, when we revealed you the fact that it will arrive next year with a brand new design. Still, it appears that the 2015 Corsa E OPC is ready and it is already produced. Two models have been spotted after they rolled off the factory line, wearing the well-known Blue Flash colour created for its OPC department.

As you can see from the photos, the vehicle has a brand new design and comes with stylish front bumper with satin grey inserts but what’s more interesting is that the hood features a air scoop. We still don’t know if this is only a design feature or is functional and delivers more air to the 1.6-liter turbocharged engine.

Moreover, at the rear there is a new roof spoiler, as well as a bumper fitted with an air diffuser, while the central exhaust system was ditched in favor of a new one featuring two chromed tailpipes. In addition, new bi-color alloy wheels were added.

Inside, we expect to see new Recaro seats, a sporty steering wheel wrapped in leather, as well as a new gear knob featuring the OPC logo. Moreover, the interior will include aluminum pedals and floor mats fitted with the OPC logo.

Under the hood, we will see a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will produce around 200 hp, enough to offer a top speed os 225 km/h or 140 mph.

Its predecessor, was powered by a 1.6-liter engine, developing 192 hp, which could push it from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.2 seconds and to a top speed of 225 km/h or 140 mph. Taking in consideration that the vehicle is already built, we expect to see the hot hatch next month, at the 2014 Paris Motor Show!
