2015 Subaru Impreza receives an updated front fascia, new refinements

We have great news for Subaru fans as the Japanese carmaker unveiled its enhanced 2015 Impreza. As you can see from the photos, the 2015 Impreza arrives with an updated front fascia that includes a redesigned front bumper, new grille, restyled headlights as well as new exterior mirrors. In addition, the 2015 Impreza Sedan gets LEDs for the center high mounted stoplights.

Subaru promises to offer additional standard features for the 2015 Impreza and the base 2.0i model receives cruise control, a touchscreen infotainment system while all trims get a standard Rear Vision Camera as well as one-touch lane changer feature for the turn signals.

Furthermore Subaru says that Limited, Sport Premium and Sport Limited trims will offer standard exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals. The Limited and Sport Limited trims will be available with ‘welcome’ lightning and upgraded instrument cluster with center-mounted LCD color display and steering wheel mounted control switch.

As an option, the 4-door Limited and Sport Limited models will be available with Keyless Access with Push-Button Start system and PIN code access. 2.0i Limited 4-door and 2.0i Sport Limited models can be ordered with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology and new Steering-Responsive Fog Lights.

The interior will also show a new standard 6.2-liter infotainment system for the 2015MY, which promises to integrate AM/FM stereo and HD Radio, Radio Data Broadcast System, single-disc in-dash CD player, Subaru STARLINK smartphone integration with Aha Infotainment, Pandora and iHeart Radio; Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity and audio streaming, iPod control capability and iTunes Tagging capability, a USB port and aux. input jack, and four speakers. As an option, Subaru offers a 7-inch touchscreen with multi-touch control.

This system is available with six-speaker audio, SiriusXM Satellite Radio (subscription required), a vehicle information display, SMS text messaging, iTunes Tagging capability and dual USB ports. The top-of-the-line infotainment system is fitted as standard on the 4-door Limited and Sport Limited trims and adds a voice-controlled navigation system.

All 2015 Impreza models use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine that delivers 148 hp at 6,200 rpm and 145 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. The engine is bolted as standard with a 5-speed manual transmission while the Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission is available as an option.
