The 2016 BMW 435i ZHP Coupe Edition has just been unveiled and if you want one you better be prepared as only 100 units will be available. Pricing is set to be announced closer to the on-sale date, but if you will not be able to get one, we are sure that we will find one for you pretty quick on eBay after one of the buyers decides to sell his vehicle.

Regarding the new car, BMW says that the coupe pays tribute to the iconic ZHP Performance Package, which was created by BMW Individual as a performance package for the 2003-2006 E46 3-Series that included M-Tech II body kit, a ZHP gear knob and shifter, upgraded suspension parts and settings, a different DME as well as special cam shafts that increased the total output to 235 hp.

Key characteristics of the 2016 BMW 435i ZHP Coupe Edition are the Track Handling Package (new for 2016MY), a BMW M Performance Limited Slip Differetial (LSD), BMW M Performance Parts and an M Sport Package.

The new Track Handling Package adds 18-inch Orbit Grey V-Spoke Wheels, M Sport Brakes with 4 piston fixed front and 2 piston fixed rear calipers, as well as Adaptive M Suspension with variable damper technology and Variable Sport Steering.

The BMW M Performance Limited Slip Differential was created for BMW enthusiasts and provides extra performance advantage using 3 clutch plates for a total of 30% lockup on acceleration and 9% lockup on deceleration. The BMW M Performance Engine Kit features engine tuning software but also a new M Performance Engine Air Intake.

This means +35 hp and up to +32 lb-ft with automatic transmission and 17 lb-ft for the manual transmission, for a total of 335 hp delivered by the 3.0-liter petrol engine. According to BMW, the 435i ZHP Coupe Edition is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard 435i model from 0 to 60 mph and 0.5 seconds faster from 50 mph to 75 mph.

When it comes to the sound, the exhaust “burble” is enabled in Comfort mode and amplified even more in “Sport” mode. Speaking about the sound of the engine, we must tell you that this is enhanced thanks to the new stainless-steel M Performance Exhaust that sheds 8.8 pounds of weight and reduces the backpressure in order to improve aerodynamic performance.

The rear end shows new stainless steel tips with a brush finish. The BMW M Performance Aerodynamics Package adds the M Performance Front Carbon Fiber Splitter, a rear M Performance Carbon Fiber Spoiler, the rear M Performance Diffuser and the M Performance Black Kidney Grilles.

The M Sport Package adds the usual front and rear Aerodynamic Kit, Aluminum Hexagon Trim with a Black high-gloss accent and an M Sport steering wheel. So, if u want to buy the new BMW 435i ZHP Edition, you better know that u will only be able to choose between two colours: Alpine White or Black Sapphire Metallic. [source: BMW]
