Volkswagen has unveiled a slew of upgraded trim levels for a number of its nameplates, particularly for its Polo, Golf, and Passat Saloon and Estate models. In lieu of the SE trim comes the new Polo Match, which can be availed in either three doors or five doors.

Available in several engine-transmission combos, the Polo Match now boasts of over £900 worth of extra equipment. For instance, the VW Polo Match now comes, as standard, with a number of new features like front and rear parking sensors, cruise control and front fog lights with static cornering function.

It also comes with tinted rear windows as well as smart new 15-inch Stratford alloy wheels. With all these new standard features, the Polo Match can be availed from just £12,735 RRP OTR, or equivalent to a price hike of just £100 OTR over the SE trim.

On the other hand, the seventh generation Volkswagen Golf can soon be availed in two new variants -- Golf GT Edition and Golf R-Line Edition. Replacing the GT trim level, the Golf GT Edition features additional equipment worth £1,795.

Included as standard on the Golf GT Edition are a panoramic sunroof and 18-inch Durban alloy wheels. At £23,915 RRP OTR, the Golf GT Edition represents a price increase of just £300 over the GT trim. Replacing the R-Line trim is the new Golf R-Line Edition, which comes with a panoramic sunroof and 18-inch Serron alloys wheels as standard.

Interested buyers could avail of the Golf R-Line Edition from just £24,860 RRP OTR, or an increase of just £250 OTR over the R-Line trim. Total added value amounts to £1,730. Both the Golf GT Edition and Golf R-Line Edition will arrive in Volkswagen UK Retailer showrooms in early 2016.

On the other hand, VW has revamped and enhanced revised SE Business trim level for its Passat and Passat Estate – making these models more stylish and giving them more value.

Now, the SE Business trim level comes with additional £555 worth of standard features like Discover Navigation, electric folding door mirrors, front fog lights and tinted rear windows. However, the SE Business trim level is priced at just £100 OTR more than the outgoing SE models.
