New Aston Martin V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions are F1-inspired

It seems that AM-RB 001 hypercar is not the only vehicle project that Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing has gone into. This time, don’t expect something as outlandish as the AM-RB 001 hypercar, but of course, the new project should still leave us mesmerized.

In order to celebrate the so-called “Innovation Partnership” between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing, the two companies are creating special versions of the V8 Vantage S and the V12 Vantage S. These special versions – called the V8 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Edition and the V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Edition – are all filled with Formula One flavors as per Red Bull Racing manners.

Taking charge of transforming the V8 and V12 Vantage S into Red Bull Racing Editions is the carmaker’s in-house personalization service -- Q by Aston Martin. Aston Martin’s bespoke division took inspiration from the unique livery of the Red Bull Racing team to create Vantage S special versions that would greatly appeal to “the most devoted Formula 1 enthusiast.”

Both the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions will be wrapped, as standard, in deep Mariana Blue exterior paint derived from the F1 livery of the Red Bull Racing team. The body accents as well as the brake calipers of these special versions of the V8 and V12 Vantage S will be featured in either red or yellow – colors that are also present in the F1 livery of the Red Bull Racing team. Of course, customers could have their V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions wrapped in other exterior paint colors -- satin Mariana Blue or gloss Tungsten Silver. In addition, the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions will have their front grille and splitter as well as side strakes and rear diffuser all finished in carbon fiber.

This sporting theme of the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions is continued inside their cabins. For instance, the seat headrests feature Red Bull Racing embroidery. The interior also comes with carbon fiber trim inlays and diamond-quilting. The driver is treated to a steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara and comes with 12 o’clock accent stripe.

Interestingly, the sill and final inspection plaques of the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions could be signed by one of Red Bull Racing’s race drivers -- Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen. According to Andy Palmer, Aston Martin president and chief executive, these V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions will bring customers closer to the 2017 season of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

Aston Martin is set to commence deliveries of the V8 and V12 Vantage S Red Bull Racing Editions in the second quarter of 2017.
