Who would not want a matching sports car and a super bike? Oh, and a matching watch to complete the package! In celebration of BMW’s partnership with Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, the French and Bavarian companies put together a special deal dubbed the M4 Competition Package. It is set to be offered this spring and costs a whopping €180,000 (or around $190,100). Being stylish doesn’t come cheap nowadays.
So the Competition Package comes with a special edition M4 Magny-Cours Edition. Its exterior is painted all white, accented with its signature red, blue, and black (typical M colour) stripes that run on the sides of the car. It comes with a rear wing and front lip made of carbon fiber, and the best part – a set of 20 inch multi-spoke alloy wheels (this is probably my favourite feature). Sounds very much like another outstanding lightweight car fitted with plenty of goodies. There’s everything to like about this offering.
Just like the standard BMW M4, it is provided with a 3.0 liter inline-six turbocharged engine under its hood, producing 450 horsepower (336 kilowatts) to the rear wheels. In just four seconds, it can speed up to 62 miles per hour from a standstill (0-100 kilometers per hour). But that’s only for the variant that comes equipped with the seven-speed dual clutch transmission, which is optional.
The stock model is already an excellent vehicle in its own right; however, BMW added several more exciting features for the package. These include: reconfigured driving modes (Comfort, Sport, and Sport +), an Active Differential, a returned Dynamic Stability Control system, an Adaptive M Suspension with springs, anti-roll bars, and dampers.
As mentioned, the package comes with a BMW 1000 RR super bike in the same sporty design and colour scheme. An upgraded version for 2017, the bike has an engine with an output of 199 horsepower at 13,500 rpm, and an added vibration free handlebar feature for a smoother, more comfortable ride. Optional elements of the 100 RR include the ABS Pro and Shift Assistant Pro.
Alongside your new special edition M4 Magny-Cours Edition and BMW 1000 RR super bike is an additional hand watch by BRM, a French manufacturer, in the same red, white and blue colours.
Sounds like a pretty awesome treat for €180,000. The exclusivity of this package plus the matching sporty theme seen on all three objects make it an incredibly appealing proposition for any BMW aficionado.
