Dodge Challenger SRT Demon owners are in for a special treat after Dodge has recently announced that it is making their cars extra special by offering exclusive aftermarket car accessories. Included in the collection are some fancy car covers, a leather-bound track manual and the optionally available street tires for drag performance enthusiasts.
The Pirelli performance tires which come in the sizes of 305/35ZR20 will be wrapped on the 20-inch standard wheels that suit the Challenger Hellcat’s Widebody set-up. The package is only offered on the Dodge Demon which is available for purchase through Mopar Performance Parts and Accessories. Given that the stock drag radials may also be prone to damage especially in colder climates, having an extra set of high performance tires is not far from being a necessity.
Among the aftermarket products currently available are Mopar’s rear seat delete package which gives the owners the option to remove the rear seat if they initially availed the Demon to come with the rear seat. This may sound simple but the package offers all the necessary parts and hardware that would have been used in the first place had the customer chose the Demon without the rear seat ready.
Some aftermarket add-ons are in the form of a fancy satin car cover with embroidery that has the owner’s name on it. Customers can also order this cover in the same color as their Demon’s exterior body paint. There is also the Demon authentication package complete with carbon fiber certification card and twelve individually sealed build sheets to make paperwork less of a hassle.
Other exciting treats include an in-car camera system, a VBox video HD2 Data Logger and a bolt-in- four point harness bar made especially for the drag strip aficionados.
The Demon by far is the industry’s fastest quarter mile production vehicle as certified by the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) as tests reveal that it can cover a quarter mile in as quick as 9.65 seconds at 140 miles per hour with a claimed 0-60 acceleration of 2.3 seconds. It is basically the world’s first street legal production drag vehicle.
Those who want to improve their Demon’s overall performance should definitely checkout the Demon Crate Engine kit which comes with a fancy toolkit, a fender cover, a tire pressure gauge, some wrench, a jack and then some.
It’s only been a while since FCA has started shipping the first batch of Dodge Challenger SRT Demons at the dealerships. With just a total of 3,300 2018 Demons for production, we’re anticipating that the owners of this 840hp V8 monsters will also find these custom car accessories to be truly a wonderful surprise.
