Mercedes-Benz opens online configurator for 2018 E-Class Cabriolet

The 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet is certainly a premium convertible that many desire. Of course, it would be nice if customers could create their ideal E-Class Cabriolet according to their taste and preferences. To help customers in the process of creating their perfect E-Class Cabriolet, Mercedes-Benz has already included the new model in its official online configurator.

As offered in the United States, the new E-Class Cabriolet is availed in two flavors -- E400 Cabriolet and the E400 4Matic Cabriolet. The E400 Cabriolet has a starting price of $66,300 and comes powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that delivers 329 hp (245 kW) of max output and 354 lb-ft (479 Nm) of peak torque. The two-wheel drive E400 Cabriolet could sprint from zero to 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. On the other hand, the E400 4MATIC Cabriolet comes with base price of $68,800. Although it is powered by the same engine as the E400 Cabriolet, the E400 4MATIC Cabriolet has power sent to all four wheels, allowing it to accelerate from nil to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds.

Thanks to the online configurator, interested customers could further individualize the E-Class Cabriolet. For instance, interested buyers could choose between 11 different exterior paints. These finishes include black (no extra cost) and designo Diamond White Metallic (additional $1,515). Four colors are available for the soft top of the E-Class Cabriolet – Black, Blue, Red and Dark Brown.

Interested customers may also avail of optional parts and accessories for their personalized E-Class Cabriolet. For instance, they may avail of the AMG Line (plus $2,500) that includes a body kit, 18-inch AMG wheels, sport steering wheel and other features. Also available are 19-inch wheels, wheel hub inserts and license plate frames.

Inside, the new 2018 E-Class Cabriolet could be specified with any of the nine interior color combinations and six interior trims. Optional elements include the Warmth & Comfort Package, a heated steering wheel and illuminated door sills. In terms of entertainment and convenience, interested customers could choose from three option premium packages for their new E-Class Cabriolet. Also available as options are Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Multi-contour front seats with massage feature, SiriusXM Radio with six months of all-access trial, soft-close doors and ventilated front seats.

In addition to standard performance and safety elements, the new 2018 E-Class Cabriolet could be fitted with wheel locks, air body control system and blind spot assist. Likewise available for the new E-Class Cabriolet are several service and care packages like Mercedes-Benz Star Service Prepaid Maintenance, mbrace Connect, mbrace Concierge, mbrace Entertain, mbrace Secure and mbrace Bundle. Customers may also avail of a number of accessories related to vehicle care and protection as well as cargo management.
