2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 is a high-tech rebel with 12-inch massive touchscreen display

Ram is bringing back its off-road pickup truck monster back for the 2019 model year. This new special edition – the 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 – essentially allows its occupants to experience the thrill of the off-road while still enjoying a highly pleasurable cabin.

The brand has always been able to make the Ram 1500 spicy with the Rebel edition. This time, however, the special edition of the Ram luxuriously spicy, thanks to the addition of new technology and premium appointments. Ram was able to give the 1500 a more premium appearance with a higher level of sophistication – resulting to the creation of the 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12.

The 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 gets the last part of its name from the fact that it features a large 12-inch reconfigurable touchscreen display as part of Ram’s Uconnect 4C system. These are just some of the distinct technologies that have never been fitted into a Rebel.

Now in its fourth generation, the Uconnect system (4C) boasts of better processing power and multi-touch gestures, as well as sharper graphics and vivid imagery. Moreover, Ram’s Uconnect 4C system can support smartphone integrations. This system comes with a class-exclusive, 12-inch reconfigurable touchscreen display that offers customized graphics as well as split-screen capability.

Moreover, the new 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 is provided with the Harman Kardon high-end audio system that comes with 19 premium speakers, 900-watt surround-sound amplifier and 10-inch subwoofer. This Harman Kardon premium audio system also features active noise cancellation. In addition, the new Rebel 12 features SiriusXM with 360L, allowing its occupants to fully enjoy the next generation in-car audio entertainment.

Aside from the fourth generation of the Uconnect system, the 12-inch touchscreen display, the Harman Kardon audio system and the SiriusXM with 360L, the new 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 offers a luxurious interior courtesy of a leather-trimmed interior and heated front seats. The new special edition also features distinct metal speaker grilles trimmed in Radar Red anodized finish.

Not to be forgotten are a number of features that makes the new 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 a true Rebel. Aside from the blacked-out grille with a large "RAM" letter badge and the aluminum sports hood, the new Rebel 12 is provided with a number of elements that allow it to become a true off-road monsters. These include factory lift, locking rear differential and Bilstein shocks as well as skid plates, tow hooks and 33-inch tires.

With sales set to commence in the fourth quarter of 2018, the new 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12 can be availed on all Rebel cab, color and powertrain configurations. It can be purchased starting at $46,990, plus $1,695 destination.
