Alfa Romeo celebrates 60 years of iconic Giulietta with special offer

Alfa Romeo UK is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint with an offer to buyers of a new Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 TB 120hp Progression a deposit contribution equal to the 1954 UK price of £1,250. The contribution could be availed by PCP and HP retail customers from April 7 to April 22, 2014, pending certain terms and conditions.

The offer also includes the Special Lunar Pearl paint, a new color for the 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta range. Those who placed an order for an Alfa Romeo Giulietta during the period will be automatically entered into a prize draw which winner will get a refund of the difference between the price of a 1954 Giulietta Sprint and a 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.4 TB 120hp Progression.

This means that the winner purchased a 2014 Giulietta for the price of the 1954 model. For 2014, Alfa Romeo has loaded the Alfa Romeo Giulietta range with more technology like Uconnect touch-screen infotainment systems as standard.

The range also boast of new engines, redesigned seats, new seat fabrics and leather upholsteries as well as new colors. The range also boasts of improved standard specs on all models. The iconic Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint was unveiled at the 36th Turin Motor Show on April 19, 1954.

For the 2014 model year, the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta is available in three new liveries -- Anodizzato Blue, Bronze and Moonlight Pearl. Helping enhance the dynamic lines of the Giullieta, these new liveries are accompanied with newly designed front grille and fog lights with chrome-plated frame. The front headlights are complemented by daytime running lights that employ LED units as well as by a day light function. In addition, the rear lights also employ LED technology.

Riding on any of the three new alloy wheels – 16 inches, 17 inches and 18 inches -- the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta comes with side windows similar to that of a coupe and features concealed rear door handles. The sides of the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta have ribs that visually elongate the vehicle while the rear end features clean lines that highlights the body’s angular shape.

To elegantly express Italian styling, the new Alfa Romeo Giulietta employs high quality materials and boasts of great attention to detail. These can be seen on the new door panel and door handle as well as the new insert on the dashboard and central console. All of these are treated with uniform scratch-proof paint while the trims are homogeneous in terms of colors and materials.
