Rc-workchop creates convertible rendering of Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept

When Bentley Motors unveiled the EXP 9 F luxury SUV concept at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, not a few expected the British carmaker to launch a premium SUV sooner or later. Because of the interest vested in what could be the world’s first luxury SUV, this concept paved the way for the introduction of the Bentley Bentayga premium SUV a few years later.

Bentley followed up the EXP 9 F luxury SUV show car by unveiling the EXP 10 Speed 6 luxury sports coupe concept at the 2015 Geneva Auto Show. Given the reception for this two-seater luxury sports car, it wouldn’t be surprising if Bentley does decide to introduce a production version. Likewise, considering Bentley’s history, it wouldn’t be a big surprise if the luxury sports coupe would have its own convertible version.

To see whether a coupe convertible from Bentley would make a business case – at least visually – it could be better if the EXP 10 Speed 6 luxury sports coupe concept has an open top variant. As for a graphical representation of a convertible variant of the EXP 10 Speed 6 luxury coupe concept, we could turn to visual artists specializing in automotive renderings. One of these artists is rc-workchop.

Rc-workchop managed to render a EXP 10 Speed 6 convertible using the luxury sports coupe concept as a base. Of course, the work includes visually removing the hard top of the EXP 10 Speed 6 luxury coupe as well as the B and C pillars. Also injected into the render is the possible compartment for storing the soft top of the convertible. Aside from these modifications, rc-workchop also changed the exterior color of the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept from a metallic version of the British Racing Green to a high-gloss black. Even the interior of the EXP 10 Speed 6 convertible is specified in black. In addition, the wheels of the EXP 10 Speed 6 were finished in black, as wrapped with Formula One-inspired whitewall tires.

Apart from these changes, nothing was changed much on the exterior. The EXP 10 Speed 6 still features muscular, athletic surfaces as inspired by aerodynamic shapes of aircraft fuselages and wings. It still features a new interpretation of the iconic Bentley matrix grille and four-round headlamps. The concept features a short front overhang, long bonnet and low grille as well as wide rear shape – giving it a true athletic stance that indicates the car’s high speed potential.

The result of all these tweaks is an EXP 10 Speed 6 Convertible that looks menacing and athletically appealing. If there is roadster version of the EXP 10 Speed 6, this rendering tells us that it would look stunningly great.
