Article by Anita Panait, on November 30, 2013

Bentley Motors has opened a Bentley Bucharest dealership, its first official sales point in Romania. Bentley Bucharest, covering an area of over 610 square meters, features dedicated new car sales facility that complements its established aftersales services.

Mihaela Tudorica, Brand Manager Bentley Bucharest, remarked that they are delighted to welcome and host all Bentley customers in an “elegant, state-of-the-art showroom” where it will present the latest exquisite models.

Gracing the opening of the Bentley Bucharest dealership was the new Continental GT V8 S that was first unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. This new member of Continental range caters to V8 customers wanting to get more as it is more agile and responsive and offers more power and caries a more sporting look.

Powered by an engine that provides 528 PS and 680 Nm torque, the new Continental GT V8 S merges sporting performance and Bentley’s signature hand-crafted luxury interior. Located on the Pipera Blvd. nr 1/x, Bentley Bucharest is the marque’s 45th dealership in Continental Europe, and is aimed at helping Bentley achieve better sales growth globally. Bentley has delivered 6,516 cars overall in the first nine of 2013, with Europe accounting for 1,081 cars.

Bentley Continental GT has been considered as the most stylish and most elegant luxury grand tourer in the world. Now, this status is boosted with the launch of the new Bentley Continental GT V8 S, which is available either as a coupe or a convertible.

Featuring sharper steering, lowered and retuned sports suspension as well as dramatic 'S' signature styling cues and characteristic V8 engine audio, the new Continental GT V8 S offers a higher level of excitement.

The new Bentley Continental GT V8 S Coupe and Convertible models mark the latest expansion of the Continental family, offering a more engaging drive from the carmaker’s 4-liter twin-turbo V8 powertrain. Further details will be known at the 2013 Frankfurt Show.

Wolfgang Schreiber, Chairman and Chief Executive of Bentley Motors, referred to the Bentley Continental as the definitive grand tourer, thanks to its effortless performance, handcrafted luxury, generous space as well as its all-wheel drive capability. The new GT V8 S takes the Continental to a new level with its sharper and sportier performance on the road.

Continental GT V8 S coupe and convertible models feature a more powerful version of carmaker’s highly efficient 4-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that has been tuned to deliver 521 bhp (528 PS or 389 KW) of max output at 6,000 rpm and 680 Nm (502 lb.-ft.) of torque at just 1,700 rpm.
