BMW’s new 6-Series Coupe signals the arrival of an outstandingly sporty and exclusive four-seater in the top-class premium coupe segment. It is longer, wider, and a bit lower than its predecessor model, and therefore has a powerful and strikingly low-set design. The car also boasts a new interpretation of BMW’s traditional coupe proportions, giving it lines and surfaces that took inspiration from the movement of waves. Its harmonious curves and flowing lines contribute to its athletic grace, complemented by eye-catching yet classy design features that emphasize the two-door BMW’s elegant appearance and opulent character.
Moreover, the new 6-Series Coupe showcases an expressive front end with a forward-slanting large kidney grille. This grille highlights the new 6-Series Coupe's sporting pedigree through its broad yet flat design. It also visually creates a connection with the engine that is nestled behind it. Meanwhile, its kidney grille slats, which are angled a bit toward the top, add emphasis to the "shark nose" character of the front end. Furthermore, the car’s bonnet has contour lines that converge in a V shape towards the kidney grille then continue through the headlights, the kidney, and the wide air intake, lending a road-focused look to the car. The optional foglamps also have high-quality chrome elements as well as LED units that lead a viewer’s eyes to the car’s muscular wheel arches.
In addition, the new 6-Series Coupe comes standard with bi-xenon headlights. There’s also an accentuating trim element cutting across the signature BMW twin round headlights’ top in order to create that intent look that BMW models possess. Optional Adaptive LED Headlights give this established feature a fresh take. The low-beam and high-beam Adaptive LED Headlights contain LED light rings – both for the daytime running lights and parking lights – that are overlapped at the top edge and levelled off at the lower edge by LED accent lights.
