BMW edged out Mercedes-Benz in the United States in May sales. BMW logged a 17-percent jump in May sales to 29,602 units while Mercedes posted a 7.7-percent rise to 26,617 deliveries. BMW’s gains were boosted by less expensive models and stylish crossovers.
