Potential customers in Hamburg, Germany who want to a good look at one of Bugatti’s prized offerings could now do so at the French super sports car brand’s latest showroom in the city. Bugatti Hamburg is now opened with a new showroom design and with a new Bugatti Chiron in tow.
Located at 222 Weg beim Jager or just near the Hamburg airport, Bugatti Hamburg is an exclusive outlet that the super sports car maker has established along with sales partner, Kamps in Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG. Hamburg Bugatti is the carmaker’s fourth dealership in Germany featuring the new showroom design and the 12th in Europe. It is one of Bugatti’s 34 dealerships in 17 countries around the world. Kamps in Hamburg GmbH has been an official dealer partner of Bugatti since 2009.
While Bugatti Hamburg only has a floor space of almost 100 square meters, the vehicle in display is certainly not ordinary. A brand new Bugatti Chiron in silver finish is the main attraction of the Hamburg showroom, and is currently the centerpiece of the luxury brand’s product offensive. Aside from the Chiron display, the new Bugatti Hamburg showroom also features a heritage section dedicated to the Bugatti brand values of “Art, Forme, Technique” with three wall-mounted steles expressing each of them.
The Bugatti Hamburg showroom also has a lounge area with furniture from the Bugatti Home Collection. Interestingly, the armchairs in the lounge employ the same blue carbon fiber materials and finest leather used in the production of a Bugatti super sports car.
Stefan Brungs, Member of the Board of Management of Bugatti Automobiles responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, remarked that the opening of the new Bugatti Hamburg showroom completes the exclusive presentation of the company’s dealerships in Germany. He noted that Germany has already surpassed the United Kingdom and Switzerland in terms of sales, becoming the largest market for the brand in Europe. He added that Bugatti has received 45 orders for the Chiron in Germany, which account for 40 percent of total sales in Europe. Hamburg alone has received 10 orders for the Chiron since the super sports car was launched.
Tagged by Bugatti as the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious, and most exclusive production super sports car in the world, the Bugatti Chiron is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 engine -- with four turbochargers -- that delivers 1,500 hp of max output and 1,180 lb.-ft. (1,600) of peak torque. The Chiron could go as fast 260 mph (420 km/h). It is estimated that Bugatti has already sold out more than half of the 500 Chiron set for production. Some of them have already been delivered to their new customers.
