Cadillac announces the availability of Recaro seats on 2010 CTS sport sedans

Article by Christian A., on February 26, 2010

Buyers of the 2010 regular Cadillac CTS Sedan may opt for Recaro seats, which are what's fitted on the high-performance CTS-V. These seats come with 14-way power adjustable settings and include adjustable back and thigh support for the driver and front-seat passenger, including a seat cushion extender, among the 14 total adjustable elements.

We can't help but gush over the seats, which are finished with French-stitched leather and have microfiber suede inserts in the center sections of the cushions and seatbacks.

The seats also have heating and cooling functions. If this option sounds good to you, be prepared to add $2,800 to the price tag. This option is limited to the Premium and Performance trim levels of the 2010 Cadillac CTS Sedan.

Starting this summer, Recaro seats will be available on the new 2011 CTS Coupe and CTS-V Coupe models. Recaro is touted as one of the world's top performance seating manufacturers.

Recaro also has deep experience in motorsports that it applies to its production units. It's no surprise then that Recaro seats are now being seen in mega-dollar supercars as well as in a Mazda Miata.
