Felipe Massa spotted with his blacked out LaFerrari

After Jay Kay’s Kermit Green LaFerrari, another celebrity was photographed with its fresh Italian supercar. The latest LaFerrari driver is Felipe Massa and its supercar is pretty spectacular. As you can see, the blacked out vehicle features red accents on the carbon fiber front lip spoiler, side sills, exterior mirrors and air diffuser.

In addition, the wheels are painted in black and hide the red brake calipers. For those who don’t know, the LaFerrari is the successor to the well-known Enzo supercar and will be built in a limited edition of just 499 units.

According to the former Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, the LaFerrari is the maximum expression of what defines the Italian company. In addition, this is Ferrari’s first supercar in company’s history to be powered by the HY-KERS System.

The system includes a 6.3-liter V12 engine that produces 800 hp at 9,250 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. In addition, the vehicle features an electric motor that produces 163 hp (120 KW), which raises the total output of the supercar in 963 hp.

The hybrid system consists of two electric motors developed in collaboration with Magnetti marelli, one powering the driven wheels while the second powers the ancillaries. A battery pack is attached to the floor of the chassis and has a weight of 60 kg.

Using Pirelli P Zero tires, the LaFerrari is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under 3 secons, to 200 km/h (124 mph) in under 7 seconds and to 300 km/h (186 mph) in 15 seconds.
