Ferrari patent drawings were actually showing the SP FFX AWD Coupe?

Article by Christian A., on October 24, 2013

Ferrari is working on a new vehicle, this is what we know but we still don’t know which is the new model. If several media reports said that this is in fact the next-generation California, now Jalopnik reports that this is a new one-off all-wheel-drive V12 coupe called FFX. On October 4th, Ferrari filed a patent application for the SP FFX, where the SP means Special Project (other vehicles wearing the SP designation were the P540 Superfast Aperta and the SP12 EC built for Eric Clapton).

Regarding the SP FFX, this vehicle is kind of a hybrid as it comes with Ferrari FF door mirrors, headlights, taillights and dimensions, but offers only two seats, has a completely new design for the rear end. Just like the FF, the FFX is all-wheel-drive, has a V12 mounted in the front developing over 650 hp, offers a top speed of over 320 km/h or 200 mph and looks better than all the models found in Ferrari’s current lineup, excluding the impressive LaFerrari.
