Kia announces new offers in the UK

Article by Christian A., on July 5, 2012

Go to your nearest Kia Motors UK Limited dealership and get an amazing array of offers that will run until the end of September. The new cee'd launched on June 1 comes with incentives that represent savings of as much as £3,500 compared to the previous generation model. The pro_cee'd 1.4 '1' is priced from £10,800, which means a saving of £2,500.

The range-topping cee'd SW 1.6 CRDi ‘4' is priced at £16,845 (saving £3,500) while the outgoing five-door model is priced from £11,000, saving £2,500. Those who buy the new cee'd could save as much as £1,000. The new model is priced from £14,395. All of the versions come with £750 PCP finance contribution.

A £700 saving is given to those who buy the Picanto three-door ‘Halo' and ‘Equinox' models. Buying any model from the Kia range offers varying amounts of savings. A Venga buyer saves £1,600 while those who purchase a Soul or Rio get up to £1,000 off.

Those who buy using Kia Financial Services could attain savings of between £500 and £1,000 on certain models. Since both customer savings and PCP financial contribution offers can be used in combination with one another, a customer can get even higher savings.

Kia will be officially debuting the new Venga during the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Manufactured in Europe, this dynamic B-segment MPV offers a good amount of space. Indeed, the name Venga more than suits this newest family car from the brand as both are lively and attractive. While the name has Spanish roots, it has a contemporary feel it, making it suitable for the active lifestyles of those living in urban areas.

This new model also mirrors the core value of Kia which is having the “Power to Surprise.” This production version has some similarities to the Kia No3 Concept car, which was presented during the Geneva Show in the early part of this year. The concept car received wide praise especially with how it managed to deliver a fun driving experience. It was also recognized for its excellent design, a bright spot in what is typically considered as a monotonous segment.

The new Venga has an overall length of 4,068 mm, with a wheelbase measuring 2,615 mm, rather long compared to the other models in the same class. The roofline meanwhile is high at 1,600 mm, and was done so in order to ensure that the cabin space is maximized.

This is not the only thing that the Venga brings to the MPV class as it has been packaged in a way that has redefined the segment with interior space in the same level as that of C- vehicles while having the footprint of B-segment models.

Sales of the new Kia Venga are expected to begin later in the year. There will be two warranties offered. There is the brand’s very own “7-Years (drivetrain) / 5-Years (whole car) / 150,000 km” warranty with the 10-Year anti-corrosion warranty added as well.
