Christian von Koenigsegg is know for its fast cars but it this man has very ambitious plans to build a hypercar that has is faster than the Bugatti Veyron, its main rival. Dubbed One:1, the new Koenigsegg hypercar will achieve a one-to-one ration of weight and horsepower. Christian von Koenigsegg said that the upcoming car will deliver 1,400 hp which means that it will have a weight of 1,400 kg.
This is considerably more powerful than the Agera, which delivers “only” 965” hp. But what is more interesting is that the new car will have a top speed of 280 mph or 450 km/h, which means that it will be faster than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition that has a speed of 268 mph or 431 km/h.
Still, this isn’t all as the new Koenigsegg One:1 will be able to hit 248 mph or from a standstill in just 20 seconds, 25 seconds faster than the Bugatti Veyron. Due to these numbers, the car will also be very expensive and only six units will be produced.
Koenigsegg is developing six extraordinarily created and designed production vehicles - the One:1 program. This is a standout amongst the most elite production vehicle program ever imagined.
The hp to kg curb weight proportion is an astonishing 1:1. This is the "fantasy" equation previously thought unthinkable. Over this, the One:1 is the first homologated production vehicle on the planet with one Megawatt of energy, accordingly making it the world's first series built Megacar. These are the reasons for naming the car One:1.
2014 One:1 truly elevates the standards of execution. The One:1 present new and exclusive solutions to improve track performance without undermining top speed or daily convenience, with a striking visual appearance to run with it.
Examples of these features include: distinguishable track enhanced air winglets, broadened venturi tunnels and side splitters, Le-Mans inspired dynamic wing configuration and enhanced active undertrim air management. Also included are huge air vents for enhanced cooling, roof air scoop to aid the 1 Megawatt of energy. 8250 RPM rev limit, complimented with Custom made Michelin Cup Tires, overhauled rear triplex suspension with carbon bevel springs and dynamic shock absorbers and ride height, fused with overhauled revolutionary Koenigsegg Aircore carbon fiber wheels.
Koenigsegg was the first outrageous vehicle producer to move towards green innovation with the release of the biofuel CCXR in 2007. The One:1, a sibling of the highly competitive Agera R, join in the strides of the CCXR as it also powers on E85 biofuel, Racefuel or normal Petrol.
