Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini said: "For Lamborghini China is a very important market. We entered China in 2005 and for us today in terms of sales China represents the second largest market in the world. Therefore we are especially looking forward to present to the Asian public both models, the new Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4 and the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in the special Ad Personam configuration Nazionale."
Design for Lamborghini has always considered aggressive power as well as beauty and incredible dynamics as elegance. It is hard to deny that the new Aventador is truly a Lamborghini, based from its looks alone. Its powerful proportions, exact lines, precise surfaces and muscularity are all attributes of a true Lamborghini sports car. This design language was specifically created by Centro Stile Lamborghini’s talented designers to provide the Aventador a significant edge over its rivals.
With details like its well-sculpted front end, low roofline and characteristic rear diffuser, the new Aventador could be considered as an avant-garde work of art. Although every line on the Aventador is dictated by function while every form is defined by the car’s need for speed, the resulting appearance of this new Lamborghini model is spectacularly impressive.
In terms of dimensions, the new Lamborghini Aventador measures 4.78 meters (188.19 inches) in overall length, 2.26 meters (88.98 inches) in width including the exterior mirrors, and 1.136 mm (44.72 inches) in height. These dynamic dimensions are matched by doors that open upward, which was first seen on the iconic Countach and employed in subsequent V12 models like Diablo and Murcielago. Furthermore, the Aventador also adopts a feature from the Murcielago – electronically managed air intakes that could open according to the outdoor temperature and cooling air requirement. When closed, the intakes could optimize aerodynamic efficiency. The new Lamborghini Aventador could also be fitted with the optional transparent engine bonnet that could allow onlookers to view the powerful V12 engine in the bay.
Inside, the new Aventador boasts of a spacious cabin that employs exclusive premium materials as perfected to their final forms through Italian craftsmanship. Furthermore, the interior of the Aventador is laden with generous equipment state-of-the-art technology. To start the V12 engine of the new Aventador, the driver just needs to flip up the red switch cover on the broad center tunnel that encloses the start button.
