Mercedes-Benz will start selling the new C 63 AMG Edition 507 in the United Kingdom in July 2013. The C 63 AMG Edition 507 will be available as a Saloon, Estate and Coupe – all of which pack an extra 50 hp of output and 10 Nm of torque over the standard C 63 AMG models. This extra horsepower and torque enables the Edition 507 to accelerate from zero to 62mph in just 4.2 seconds (4.3 seconds for the Estate variant).

The AMG Drivers Package, which lifts the limit on the top speed, allows the C 63 AMG Edition 507 to cruise up to 174 mph, a still electronically limited figure. Matching the C 63 AMG Edition 507’s deep substance is a style that exudes its aggressive nature.

The vehicle features 19” AMG Cross-Spoke alloy wheels with a Titanium finish and a high performance composite brake system with red brake calipers. It also boasts of an AMG bonnet with power domes and air outlets finished in a high black gloss, similar to the C 63 AMG Black Series Coupe.

The C 63 AMG Edition 507 dons high gloss black exterior mirrors, radiator grille and front apron. Featured on its side is an AMG Sports Stripe in matt graphite grey. The Saloon version of the car features an AMG boot lid spoiler.

The interior of the C 63 AMG Edition 507 is also something to look forward to. It features designo Black Leather as standard, but customers could opt for the designo Porcelain Leather with Black Dinamica and contrast stitching, or for the designo Black Leather with Black Dinamica – at no extra cost.

Coming as standard is the AMG Performance Steering Wheel, complemented by Edition 507 badge on the dash and AMG high black gloss trim. The car’s door panels and the emblem embossed gearshift lever are finished in Dinamica.  Its AMG instrument cluster comes in red accents. Prices start from £66,960 OTR for the C 63 AMG Edition 507 Saloon, £68,160 for the Estate and £68,160 for the Coupe.

Mercedes-Benz's C63 AMG "Edition 507" boasts a more powerful high-performance braking system that comes as standard and that features composite technology. The vehicle's front axle uses composite brake discs measuring 360 x 36 millimeters. The benefits of this composite design include lower warping characteristics and higher fatigue strength. Additionally, composite discs are tipping the scales at a lighter weight, where reduced unsprung masses enhance the spring/damping elements' response.

With composite technology, the car's brake discs have been connected through eight cast bracket arms to an aluminium bowl. The result is the friction ring's homogenous elongation under heavy loads. Also, the brake discs have been perforated and ventilated all round, as well as decelerated through six-piston aluminium fixed brake callipers for the front axle and four-piston fixed brake callipers for the rear axle. These callipers are painted red.

The C63 AMG has a sporty yet functional interior, and it is even more dynamic and more exclusive in the "Edition 507." You can also choose from three available equipment and appointment variants: black designo leather/DINAMICA, black designo leather, and porcelain designo leather/DINAMICA. For the designo leather/DINAMICA upholstery, the contrasting light-colored topstitching gives a beautiful highlight.

Moreover, the car's AMG Performance steering wheel is in Alcantara with contrasting light-colored stitching and has a 12-o'clock mark. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed sports transmission's selector lever has a DINAMICA finish and carries an AMG badge. The selector lever gaiter has contrasting light-colored stitching.
