Mercedes-Benz releases G-Class Edition 35 to celebrate the model’s 35th anniversary

5 years after it released the G-Class 30th Anniversary Edition, Mercedes-Benz announced the G-Class Edition 35, a model that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the well-known off-road vehicle. According to Mercedes-Benz, the Edition 35 special model is available for the G350 BlueTec and G500 models.

As expected, the special edition will be easily distinguished thanks to the new 18-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in bright black, new front and rear bumpers painted in obsidian black metallic, as well as wheel arch linings, exterior mirrors and roof painted in the same obsidian black metallic.

In addition, the Edition 35 models are offered in designo mystic white bright or palladium silver metallic paint finishes. As standard, the models arrive with the Sports Package, which adds AMG wheel-arch flaring and on the G500 a stylish sports exhaust system.

Moreover, the vehicles also get the Chrome Package as standard, which adds chrome highlights in the radiator grille, chrome surround on the seat adjustment switch panel and loudspeakers as well as the door sill panel in the luggage compartment wearing the “Mercedes-Benz” lettering.

Inside, the G-Class Edition 35 arrives with two high-grade leather upholstery available in designo porcelain/black or single-tone designo black. Both versions get the red contrasting topstitching.

The models also get the Exclusive Package, which adds an AMG performance steering wheel, a designo trim in black piano lacquer, roof liner in designo black Dinamica microfiber and a dashboard wrapped in leather.

In Germany, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz G350 BlueTec Edition 35 starts at 101,031 euros including 19 percent VAT, while the G500 Edition 35 costs 112,812 euros including 19% VAT.
