MG launches national TV ad for MG3, also promotes online configurator

The national TV advertisement for the MG3 will be shown on satellite channels this weekend and on terrestrial and SKY channels at the beginning of next week until the end of November. The MG3 ad will be shown on the ITV2 Sunday evening movie Dragonheart and Great British Bake off and the Wedding Cake special on the GOODFOOD channel.

The ad will also be shown in ITV3, EDEN, ALIBI, GOLD, DAVE, YESTER, HOME, REALLY, DRAMA and WATCH. The MG3 ad will be featured on 5USA during the commercial break of The Mentalist. Starting November 4, 2013, the commercial will appear on terrestrial channels; ITV and Channel Four and on SKY channels; SKY1, SKY NEWS, SKY Living, SKY Atlantic, MT, VH1, Comedy Central, FOX, Universal, National Geographic, Syfy, Capital, Challenge, PICK and many more. The ad will also be highlighted next week on This Morning; Coronation Street and Emmerdale, Drama; ‘Missing’ and the return of ‘I’m a Celebrity get me out of here’.

The MG3 ad will likewise be shown on the X-Factor, Surprise Surprise, Grand Designs, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners, Kennedy, Cowboy Builders, Celebrity Juice and Doc Martin. MG's national TV ad is culmination of marketing activity for the MG3.

The vehicle is available with four trim lines -- the range-topping 3STYLE has a tag of only £9,999 while the entry level 3TIME is available for just £8,399. The MG3 offers over one million personalization options that can be viewed using the online configurator at www.mg.co.uk. Customers can use the configurator to explore trim levels and color options as well to personalize their units with other options.

MG has already commenced customer deliveries of the MG3, which the first owners of MG’s new supermini are now enjoying their new rides. Making news for its accessibility, the new MG3 supermini is making it more appealing by earning an insurance group rating of just 4E on all units.

One of the first owners of the MG3 was 23-year old Laura Drysdale. She drives an MG3 3STYLE in Orange Marmalade with optional Burst roof graphic, Black mirror caps, 16-inch Black Diamond alloy wheels as well as ‘TECH’ part leather interior.
Powered by a VTi 106 PS petrol engine as standard, the entry level MG3 3TIME features LED daytime running lights, a CD player with MP3 compatibility, and hill hold control. 

Other MG3 versions available are the 3FORM and the 3FORM SPORT. The 3FORM is priced at £9,299 while the 3FORM SPORT -- boasting of a sportier look -- is available for £9,549.
