MINI Green Park brings the British spirit into focus

Article by Christian A., on April 19, 2012

This is the MINI Green Park, a special edition that promises to showcase the traditional British passion for sporting competition. As you can see from the photos, the MINI Green Park comes with British Racing Green finish for the roof and exterior mirror caps that form a contrast with the bodywork in Pepper White.

The front hood features British Racing Green stripes while the transparent white lenses for the direction indicators heighten the distinctly classic-sporty look. Moreover, the C-pillars of the MINI Clubman Green Park are offered in body colour. We didn’t mention that the Green Park edition is available worldwide in MINI and MINI Clubman body styles.

The interior of the MINI Green Park features surfaces in Pepper White, while the seats are offered in Black or Polar Beige. In addition, the MINI Yours leather-lined dashboard is offered n in a combination of Black/Polar Beige. As an alternative, the MINI Green Park is available with all other variants along with the entire range of optional extras for the MINI and MINI Clubman.

Regarding its name, the MINI Green Park takes its name from a recreational area very near Buckingham Palace. This park covers an expanse of 19 hectares and is a key element of the city’s green belt, linking Hyde Park to St James’ Park.

For those who liked the MINI Green Park we have to tell them that the special edition is available with a choice of up to four engine variants: the MINI Cooper and MINI Cooper Clubman with 90 kW/122 hp, MINI Cooper D and MINI Cooper D Clubman (82 kW/112 hp), MINI Cooper S and MINI Cooper S Clubman (135 kW/184 hp) and the MINI Cooper SD and MINI Cooper SD Clubman (105 kW/143 hp). All the engines are bolted as standard with a six-speed manual transmission, while a six-speed automatic is optionally available.
