We told you something about the GT-R Track Pack back in November, when Nissan revealed the 2013 GT-R, but today the Japanese manufacturer revealed all the details of the new pack. As expected, the new Track Pack was developed for those who want to an extra edge on the race track, offering a harder edge and still remaining fully road legal.
According to Nissan the Track Pack is easily identified by lightweight six-spoke RAYS alloys with gloss black painted centres.
The new pack also adds additional cooling ducts built into the front bumper, which reduce the operating temperature of the front brake discs by as much as 100 degrees during track use.
Similar air ducts are found behind the rear wheels. Moreover, the suspension’s spring rates have been revised in order to deliver better performances on the track.

The 2014 Nissan GTR comes with the new 545hp engine. Aside from the additional 15hp, the torque has also increased by 15lb-ft given its 463 lb-ft existing torque. They also equipped the new GTR with better exhaust emissions, lesser airflow resistance and more superior intake efficiency.

For those who didn’t know, they have a special facility for this procedure, which is similar to how and where racing engines are made.
Instead of the old cast iron liners, the highly innovative VR38DETT Twin turbo 3.8L V6 engine has the advanced plasma-sprayed bores. Thus, the new lightweight engine is more fuel efficient with better power output, excellent cooling and lesser friction.
For improved cold start emissions, Nissan has come up with a secondary air management system for the new GTR model. Other features include a lateral wet and dry sump oiling system, an oil scavenger pump and a thermostatically controlled oil cooling system. The high performing twin IHI turbocharging system meanwhile comes with multiple exhausts and individual intakes.
