The car comes with a skew of comfort, convenience and safety enhancements.
Consequently, it brings the 5008 offers a whole new standard for compact passenger vehicles.
With the carmaker's intention of expanding its M1 segment, comes the 5008 which is its second new model offering in the large M1 segment, after the 3008 crossover.

With a measurement of 4.53 meters long and 1.64 meters high, after the 308 SW and 3008 crossover, the 5008 is a natural addition to the company's present offering in the M1 range.
The exterior design of the 5008 appears to be taken off of the 807 large MPV and 3008 crossover.
It's engine range is a direct carry over from the 3008 which is basically untouched. Included in the initial gasoline line is a naturally ventilated 1.6-liter VTi powerplant producing 120hp and a 1.6-liter turbo that can give 156hp. The diesel powerplant line includes a 1.6-liter HDi producing 110hp and a 2.0-liter HDi generating 150hp when coupled with a 6-speed auto transmission and 163hp when you used a six-speed manual.
The Peugeot 5008 remarkably stands out particularly because of its balanced and unique exterior design. Its front is endowed with appealing profiled headlamps as well as a dipping bonnet that extends backwards towards the large front windscreen.
Its front is well styled to be able to penetrate through the air efficiently. Moreover, its aerodynamic styling -- featuring a Cx of 0.29 and Scx of 0.77 – is similar to that of the TGV high-speed train, evoking high fluidity and high drivability. Peugeot 5008's fluidity and elegant appeal is further boosted by the chrome detailing on the front grille.
On the sides, the Peugeot 5008 features a smooth design that evokes flowing movement with the high waist line conveying safety. Moreover, the Peugeot 5008 features a specially designed large rear quarter panel windows that seem to merge into the rear tailgate glass, making it appear that the glazed surface wraps around the vehicle sans any interruption.
Moreover, the large rear quarter panel windows and the rear tailgate glass create an interior environment that is not only bright but also enjoyable. Additionally, occupants on the posterior section of the Peugeot 5008 are treated to extra light courtesy of the large panoramic glass roof.
On the other hand, the Peugeot 5008 features an elegant styling line that commences at the level of the rear door, flowing and highlighted on the wing, and ends on the rear. This elegant line also provides a dynamic flair to the side profile of the vehicle while endowing some character to its tailgate design.
On the rear, the Peugeot 5008 features stylish rear lights that use light-guide technology. In effect, the rear end of the vehicle has its own visual signature that conveys both robustness and purity. Interestingly, the tailgate features a design that implies easy access to the boot. Of course, the Peugeot 5008 is a compact people carrier, thus its design clearly conveys the reason why it was engineered and built – a dynamic exterior that hints at an interior with ample capacity.
