After receiving an entry-level version, Porsche Macan is now available with new sporty options. As a result Porsche Exclusive is offering a new Sport Design Package, sports exhaust system, bi-xenon headlights and dark-coloured LED rear lights. In addition, there are new 21-inch Sport Classic wheels in three colour variants inspired by the iconic ‘Fuchs wheel’ used by the 911.

According to the official press release, the Sport Design Package includes front body, side sills, a rear bottom section and side blades in a unique look. Moreover, the package comes with a painted roof spoiler and a rear mid-section.

Porsche offers the Sport Design Package in the car’s exterior colour or in high gloss black. The sports exhaust system is distinguished by two twin tailpipe trims made of stainless steel chrome-plated in black or silver and the sound delivered can be altered thanks to a switch located on the centre console.

As we said, Porsche also offers smoked bi-xenon headlights that aew equipped as standard with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). The LED rear lights show dark red lens and surfaces within the fittings finished partially in black.

Inside, accessories made by Porsche Exclusive and Tequipment include the new ‘Limed Oak’ interior package. Furthermore, there are many interior elements, such as the frame of the Porsche Communication Management System (PCM) that can be wrapped in leather or show a high-gloss finish.

The distinctively designed, imposing front end of the Porsche Macan is marked by large air intakes that help highlight the performance level of the vehicle, just like any of the brand’s offerings. The large air intakes In the Macan Turbo are fitted with stylistic elements known as C-blades, which help accentuate the model’s athletic appearance while delivering a sophisticated aerodynamic response.

Porsche gifted the new Macan with an impressive wraparound bonnet that encloses the headlights while extending down to the wheel arches. Its impressive and precision lines flowing to the front end lend the Macan a broad and dynamic look, with the seamless surface of the bonnet giving the vehicle a clean and neat face. This makes the Macan’s concentration on the road very obvious when it is viewed from the front.

On the sides, the new Macan reveals a sharp profile defined by a sporty sloping roof line that also highlights its dynamic character. Furthermore, design lines flowing to the rear end accentuate the broad, sculpted wings, and along with the window graphics as well as the shape of the D-pillar pays tribute to the design of the Porsche 911.

The new Macan also features sideblades – which are essentially dynamically formed inserts also available in different materials -- at the bottom of the front and rear doors. These sideblades as well as the front door entry guard feature a design evoking the lower door seams of the 918 Spyder. This element, along with the sophisticated door handles, makes doors seem narrower and the sides sportier and more streamlined.

These sideblades are finished in Lava Black as standard on the Macan S and Macan S Diesel, while on the Macan Turbo, these sideblades are painted in the body color. The sideblades on the Macan S and Macan S Diesel could also be finished in body color. Sideblades in Genuine Carbon are also optionally available for all Macan models.
