Rendered Speculation: 2016 Audi A4 (B9)

Article by Christian A., on October 21, 2014

Taking inspiration from the latest Audi models such as the A6 Facelift and A7 Sportback Facelift, RM Design decided to give us an idea of how the upcoming A4 will look like, at least in their vision. In our opinion, the renderings make perfect sense as the vehicle features stylish LED headlights, the well-known singleframe grille and follows the same design line with seen on the other models.

At the rear, there are LED taillights while the whole design is an evolution of the current model. According to our sources, the Audi A4 (B9) will be bigger, lighter and more fuel-efficient that the current model.

When it comes to powertrains, Audi will offer the well-known four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

Sporty versions such as the S4 will get the same 3.0-liter TFSI engine, while the RS4 is still far away. When it comes to safety, Audi will offer new assistance systems in order to protect its passengers and we will find additional camera angles, automatic braking in the city, but also a head-up display as well as a new TFT display that replaces the traditional instrument cluster.
