SEAT rolls out Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition

Article by Christian A., on July 15, 2014

SEAT is marking 30 years of the Ibiza by launching a special limited edition. The SEAT Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition is now available to order through the carmaker’s dealers. The SEAT Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition allows the carmaker to pay tribute to its most popular and best-selling model, which was first unveiled at the 1984 Paris Motor Show.

The past three decades were marked by four generations of Ibizas – all offering dynamic nature, value for money and outstanding performance. The SEAT Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition could be availed in Style trim on the three-door SC body.

This special limited edition is characterized by an exterior wrapped in Balea Beige Paint (Technic Grey and Emocion Red are also available), front xenon headlights, rear LED clusters, 17-inch black alloy wheels, black wing mirror housings and black front grille.

The SEAT Ibiza 30th Anniversary Limited Edition also bears an exclusive commemorative logo located on the B pillar and on the rear windscreen.

Moving inside, the interior of the limited edition features a rear view parking camera, Alcantara upholstery with beige stitching, leather steering wheel, and gearknob and hand brake with beige stitching.

The interior also features the SEAT Portable System and customized key cover and floor mats. These features builds on the standard equipment as found in the Style trim level.

We first witnessed the SEAT Ibiza in 2008, when it was launched as the first car developed in its segment. Its focus was mainly on stability and comfort, as well as safety. The SEAT Ibiza is a five-door model that had plenty of space and a luggage capacity of 292 litres, and is also known for its head turning design.

The new Ibiza SC - sports coupe with three doors

Up next is the three door Ibiza SC. Not only does it highlight a distinctly dynamic design, but it also has some impressive dimensions of 4,043mm long and 1,428mm high. Just like the five-door model, it comes with plenty of luggage space at 284 liters. This variant is also quite fast, and has good handling, without sacrificing comfort.

The new Ibiza ST - the most beautiful estate in its class

Last is the SEAT Ibiza ST that calls for elegance. It highlights a high level of functionality without compromising design. And even if it looks slim with its sporty lines, it still has 430 liters of storage capacity in the trunk. This could further be expanded by just a few simple movements.
