Skoda adds Reaction/Monte Carlo models to Fabia range in the UK

Skoda has added this month two new vehicles to its best-selling Fabia range in the United Kingdom – the Fabia Reaction and the Fabia Monte Carlo TECH Estate. Both new Fabia models boast of high equipment levels as well as good value for money. The new Fabia Reaction could be availed at an introductory price of just £9,690, which is a £3,715 less than the normal price of £13,405.

Fabia Reaction features all the needed features to beat the summer heat. It comes with air-conditioning and a three-spoke leather steering wheel as standard.

The Fabia Reaction’s Meteor Grey finished exterior boasts of 16-inch black Comet alloys, rear spoiler and Sunset glass as well as black detailing on the roof, mirrors and grille. The Fabia Reaction, which is only available hatch form, is powered by a 1.2-liter 12V 69PS engine.

Fabia Monte Carlo TECH Estate is based on the Monte Carlo model, features Amundsen sat-nav and Bluetooth connectivity as standard.

Fabia Monte Carlo TECH Estate exudes sporty looks, thanks to a dynamic design features gloss black wheelarches and grille. It could be availed in three color options: red, white and black. Buyers could choose from two engine option: a 1.2-liter TSI 105PS or a 1.6-liter TDI CR 105PS.

The 1.2 TSI 105PS TECH has a starting price of £12,575, while the 1.6 TDI CR 105PS TECH has a base tag of £13,545. Alasdair Stewart, Skoda UK Brand Director, remarked that the arrival of the Fabia Reaction and the Fabia Monte Carlo TECH Estate allows them to deliver better value to their customers, thanks to the models’ high equipment levels and stylish design.

The new Skoda Fabia is now available with new wheel trims and aluminum wheel designs and customers could choose from new choices like Aqua Blue, Pacific Blue and Rally Green. Its hatchback variants could also be availed with roof rails, which weigh only two kilograms thanks to its lightweight construction and attention to detail. On the other hand, Skoda provided the interior of the new Fabia with new materials as well as visual refinements.

For instance, the new Fabia now features new three- and four-spoke steering wheels that could be optionally covered with leather. These steering wheels also feature multi-function control of the audio and telephone systems.

In addition, the new Fabia now sports chrome air vent inserts, handbrake button and gear lever frame. Likewise, the smallest car from Skoda now boasts of breathable seat covers and upgraded Climatronic air conditioning controls. Furthermore, Skoda redesigned the driver's information display, with central screen now sporting a gear-change indicator.

This central screen on Fabia models specified with DSG transmission displays the selected gear as well as the outside temperature. Interestingly, the Tempomat and speed-limit warnings now display the allowable top speed in countries with motorway speed limits. They also display the allowable top-speed for vehicles with speed-restrictions because of winter tires.
